The Terry Kavanuagh Annual Lecture is one of the highlights of the conference and one of the most prestigious awards of
CACPR. Selection of the Terry Kavanagh Lecturer is based on the following criteria,
- At least 10 years of leadership, experience and contribution to the field of cardiovascular
prevention and rehabilitation;
- High level of research and other academic productivity;
- Notable record of peer-reviewed grants, publications and presentations;
- National and international impact
About Louise Morrin
Louise is the Senior Provincial Director of the Kidney Health and the Digestive Health Strategic Clinical Networks. This role involves working with a broad range of stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the quality of care for those with kidney disease and digestive diseases in all its dimensions across the continuum, develop and implement innovative solutions and create sustainable health care for Albertans. Louise Morrin completed her BSc (PT) and MBA at Queens University and has over 30 years experience in health care with a diverse background in clinical practice, administration, teaching and research in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular health, stroke and chronic disease management.
